Solgat confirms in the final

The German driver Simon Solgat (Birel / TM)drove hard in the rain for the KZ2 final. The duel between Yuri Lucati (BRM / TM) and Jack Hawksworth (Maddox / Parilla) went on throughout the race for second place which finally went to Hawksworth.

At the beginning of the race, many skirmishes and spins scattered the pack. Eric Ramon (Sodi / TM) went out in the grass at high speed with no brakes. Teammate Peter Ragues also lost time, but he showed his speed with a resurgence to 6th position. Beitske Visser (Intrepid / TM) was forced to retire on lap 4 when she was already back from last to 11th place: she was obviously very, very disappointed. Antonio Piccioni (Parolin / SGM) finished 4th from Roope Turunen (Tony Kart / Vortex).
