Tactical Superpole session

Nyck De Vries had driven hard from the start on the track for the Superpole, unlike his usual strategy, but he dropped back in too early among a group of drivers (Basz, D’Agosto, Albon, … ) who seemed to be waiting around the corner. He then had no choice but to pass them before going in search of a time with D’Agosto glued to his heels to take advantage of the slipstream. Nyck slowed again to get a clear track. Meanwhile, Albon and Basz were fastest. Nyck found himself once again caught up in this group, but set the fastest time of 1.00.425 ahead o Basz, Albon, D’Agosto and Tiene.
