Verstappen, Leclerc and Fuoco well placed on Saturday night

Max Verstappen (CRG / Parilla) had still not dropped a race after 5 heats, therefore five victories. He was very well placed for the rest of the KF3 World Cup on Saturday night at Sarno, while the remaining 4 heats out of 21 will be on Sunday morning. However, the other strong man of the class was Charles Leclerc (Intrepid / TM) with three victories to his credit, but he has had two 2-second penalties for starting a little too fast, so he could have not had any points at this stage of the competition. Finally, Speedy, aka Antonio Fuoco (Tony Kart / Vortex) completeed the trio with his wins and one second place.

Those are the major contenders for the finals. Other good performers, Matthew Graham (Zanardi / Parilla), with two wins, and Callan O’Keeffe (FA Kart / Vortex) with one win victory, were in place to defend the honor of Great Britain. Dennis Olsen (Energy / TM) continued his solid path to the doors of the top 5. According to our calculations, Esteban Ocon (FA Kart / Vortex) occupied 10th position ahead of Oystein Helgheim (Parolin / TM). Valentin Naud (Tony Kart / Vortex) achieved a good performance in around 20th place, despite concerns in one of his races. With little advantage from his Birel / BMB, Dorian Boccolacci fought like hell to recover after his troubles in the first heat: he was in 24th.

In 28th, Lance Stroll (Zanardi / Parilla) had shown some remarkable performances after a retirement. Also very fast, Julé Erwan (Intrepid / TM), was second twice but had some bad luck but is in the final. The reigning European Champion, George Russell (Intrepid / TM) has the same goal, but has not yet got there. Valentin Moineault and Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / Parilla) have had a difficult time with their respective chassis and their teams have chosen to experiment on them. Their qualification is now very uncertain.
