Senior Prefinal: The fight turns to the advantage of Eastwood

The Senior Rotax prefinal at Winter Cup at Campillos was an eventful race. First, a collision at the first corner sent Sean Babington and Andy King to the bottom of the pack. Then a group of four madmen competes for the lead for 13 laps with three different leaders who exchanged the lead without any politeness: Harrison Scott (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing), Dave Blom (Formula K – K Formula Europe ) and Charlie Eastwood (Formula K – Protrain Racing) with Edward Brand (Formula K – K Formula Europe) and Ash Hand (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing) there too. Eastwood eventually won after the most forceful last lap, with Blom second, Scott third and Brand fourth. The French driver Antoine Barthon (FA Kart – Dan Holland Racing) finished seventh.
