New names have already appeared in the top tier during qualifying with Arthur Lehouck (Sodi / Parilla), Lucas Marchi (ART GP / Parilla), Alexandre Gadois (FA Kart / Vortex), Bryan Elpitiya (Zanardi / Parilla) and François Bécamel (Kosmic / Vortex). Young drivers were drive to two groups to compete in each semi-final. The first was very agitated, sometimes beyond reason. François Bécamel (Kosmic / Parilla) won the race after a duel with Arthur Lehouck, but Jeremy Demarque (Sodi / Parilla) finished second ahead of Belgian Benjamin Lessennes (Sodi / Parilla) author of a great recovery. In the other semifinal, Alec Finn Weckstrom (Maranello / Vortex) won ahead Amaury Bonduel (Kosmic / Parilla) and Alexander Guiod (Merlin / Parilla).

Then the final reserve many surprises before Landais not climbed into the lead after a rebound from the 15th position. Amaury Bonduel (Kosmic / Parilla) and Alexander Guiod (Merlin / Parilla) were first taken center stage with Bryan Elpitiya (Zanardi / Parilla). Landes won his first major victory, followed by a short distance Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / Parilla) ascended the ranks 22nd, while the peloton was ripped to the finish to let Weckstrom up finally on the third step of the podium , Demarque fourth and fifth Bonduel.

Leclerc flawless but not without a rival in KF2

We waited Charles Leclerc (ART GP / Parilla) in Varennes favorite and he did not disappoint, winning all of the final lap. Paul Boutonnet (Tony Kart / Vortex) perhaps had slightly less speed. Coming straight from Cadets he impressed all observers by setting very convincing times. The three-way battle involving Vincent Fraïsse (Sodi / Parilla) in the final was especially exciting to watch and the pack was not far behind. Pascal Belmaaziz (DR / TM) used his experience to beat Remy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex), Valentin Moineault (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Victor Compere (Kosmic / Vortex).

Roy Gaillard ahead in KZ2

Maxim Roy (Tony Kart / TM) and Mathieu Gaillard (Energy / Maxter) were the two strongmen of the day in KZ2. The pole man, Gaillard led from Roy in the prefinal and final while showing good speed. Cedric Goudant (Tony Kart / TM) and Christophe Benoit (Birel / TM) long played the underdog, and Nolan Mantione (Birel / TM) had the leading role behind Roy at the start of finals, but finally, two veterans, Julien Poncelet (Formula K / TM) and Pierre Ragues (Sodi / Maxter) were behind leaders. Victory for Roy, 2nd place for Gaillard and 3rd for Poncelet.
