The Dane Kevin Rossel (Birel / BMB) set the fastest time in qualifying for the Asia-Pacific KF2 Championship at Suzuka. He lapped at 48 » 617, ahead of Nieri Fukuzumi (Kosmic / Vortex) by 15 milliseconds. Argentina’s Federico Panetta (Tony Kart / Vortex) took third place ahead of Paolo Ippolito (Kosmic / Vortex) and Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex). Hong Kong driver Matthew Solomon (Tony Kart / TM) was in sixth position ahead of Sataro Mimura (ART PM / TM), Damiano Fioravanti (Tony Kart / TM) and Andrew Tang (Kosmic / TM).
