Tuesday at Lonato, the snow was still there …

As it has snowed more at Lonato, the white blanket is still persistent enough to seriously disrupt the testing program at the Winter Cup. Official free practice begins on Wednesday, but the drivers haven’t really been on the track so far. The temperature is too cold for the snow to melt by itself. The organizers must start salting the track this morning. We started to remember the Margutti Trophy in 2005 or think about the well-deserved title of the classic Italian race. Snowplows roam the area, although not wolves yet … The situation will perhaps improve during the day, however this 18th event will, at best, have less intense testing than usual.
