Lorandi makes the difference in Junior Qualifying at PFI

Lando Norris (FA Kart / Vortex) looked set to dominate Qualifying for the International Super Cup in KF-Junior at PFI, but Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / Parilla) set a great time just before the end of the session, 56.196s. Norris tried to reply, but he could not get closer than 0.110s from the polesitter. Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart / Vortex ) took third place and was 0.2s from the rest of the field and from the fastest time, Dan Ticktum (FA Kart / Vortex) was 4th, and Robert Shwartzman (Tony Kart / TM) fifth. Arthur Lehouck (Tony Kart / TM) set the 15th time 0.5s from pole, Gabriel Aubry (Birel / TM) was 17th, very disappointing after what we had seen of him in free practice.
