IAME Lyon: Halder impressive in the Shifter Prefinal

Thierry Delré (CF) made a perfect start in the X30 Shifter prefinal, while Mike Halder (Wild Kart) hesitated for a split second. Kenny Charles (Merlin) and Nicky Morris (Merlin) followed in fourth and fifth places in front of Jean-François Kussmaul (Tecno). Halder took the lead on lap 3 with much better performance than his opponents. The times continued to drop despite continuing rainy weather.

Thomas Cypers (Sodi) drove a great race by closing on Morris and taking his 6th place. Halder crushed the competition in this important prefinal by 5 » ahead of Delré, himself 15″ ahead of Nuvolini. Merchandise was 4th, Charles 5th and Cypers 6th.
