There are still two heats to run in KF-Junior on Sunday morning, with only group E having completed on Saturday night. The balance of the day is temporary. Denmark’s Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart / Vortex) was the best performer of the day. Although he conceded a victory to Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex), he caught up by winning the next two heats, each with the fastest lap. Kush Maini (Tony Kart / Vortex) recovered well from his 16th position in qualifying right into the wake of Lundgaard, thanks to his two wins. Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) is 3rd ahead of Felipe Drugovich (Kosmic / Vortex) and Sebastian Fernandez Wahbeh (Exprit / Vortex) then Bogdan Fetisov (Tony Kart / Parilla).

Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer’s (Tony Kart / Vortex) performance deserves to be noticed. For his first race in KF-Junior, the young French driver showed great consistency at the front in difficult conditions. With 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 3rd, he should go on to a good position in Sunday’s prefinal. Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) recovered well in the final heats and moved up into the top 10.

Charles Milesi (Tony Kart / Vortex) was unlucky in the rain: he couldn’t repeat his 9th in heat 2. Finally Milane Petelet completed his learning mission after leaving Minime class, finishing ninth and 12th in the final heats, despite a flying spoiler.
