KF heat 1: Nielsen well ahead of Basz

Sunglasses were no longer needed at La Conca, as dark clouds were gathering over the circuit for the start of the first qualifying heat for KF. Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) was alone in the lead and finished with a clear victory with a 1.3 » gap to Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex). Tom Bale (FA Kart / Vortex) finished in 3rd position, and got the better of his teammate Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) at RFM, while Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished fifth ahead of Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex), delayed early in the race, but who set the fastest time. After some fast laps, Egor Stupenkov from Forza Racing (Tony Kart / Vortex) gained six places with some excellent times. It was a tough race for François Becamel (Kosmic / Parilla) in 22nd position although he improved his pace.
