KZ2 Heats: Schmitz moves up to first place
After a faultless run, Alexander Schmitz (Tony Kart / Vortex) is in control in the KZ category at the end of the heats. Lorenzo Lapina (Italcorse / Modena) has 4 points as Davide Fore (CRG / TM) and takes second place with a fastest time ahead the quadruple world champion. Massimo Dante (Maranello / TM) is fourth in an interesting position ahead of the poleman Giacomo Pollini (CKR / TM). Sauro Cesetti (Jesolo / TM) managed to move up from 16th to 9th position, and Sean Babington (Energy / Parilla) took 11th place on his debut in the 125 gearbox. It was a tough day for Tommaso Mosca (Maranello / TM), 2nd in qualifying and only 13th on Saturday night.
