The CIK Sound System is back at Essay
As the KZ and KZ2 are back on track, the noise control has been reactivated for the CIK-FIA European Championship at Aunay les Bois / Essay. Even though the exhaust is homologated in both categories (RT 2.18 s), the sound must never go above the limit of 108 dB / A (RT art 2.19.1). Download the Technical Regulations here.
Four microphones, the visible part of the system, were hung on the gantry above the start / finish line on the International Circuit of Aunay les Bois / Essay, while information processing is carried out by Apex Timing, the Official timekeeper of the event.
