World Karting Champions honoured at FIA awards ceremony

On Friday, 8th December, the three 2017 CIK-FIA World Champions were rewarded along with all the other Motorsport Champions at the magnificent FIA Prize Giving Gala held at the Palace of Versailles, near Paris. The ceremony took place in the presence of FIA President Jean Todt, Felipe Massa, the new President of CIK-FIA and Shaikh Abdulla Bin Isa Al Khalifa, the outgoing President, as well as many prestigious guests.

Danny Keirle (GBR – 20 years old) received his trophy for winning the 2017 CIK-FIA World Championship at PF International (GBR), while Dexter Patterson (GBR – 14 years old) was awarded as the winner of the 2017 CIK-FIA World Junior Championship also at PF International. Paolo De Conto (ITA – 25 years old) was honoured for winning the 2017 CIK-FIA World KZ Championship at Wackersdorf (DEU).
