In Lonato, the timed sessions started with the KZ2 category, in intense heat. The draw of the three groups did not seem to have had a particular influence on the final hierarchy, as the first three drivers came from three different sessions.
To start with, the Frenchman Emilien Denner (Kali’Kart / TM Racing) set a magnificent 45 « 770, which no one could beat afterwards, while Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART / TM Racing) always very fast at Lonato, did not disappoint with 45 « 793 in the last session, the second best performance. He was ahead of Giuseppe Palomba (Intrepid / TM Racing), who finished 1st in the second session with 45 « 860.
Both on Tony Kart / Vortex, Alexander Schmitz and Alessandro Giardelli settled in 4th and 5th positions. Of the three Frenchmen who reached the podium at Salbris, Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM Racing) was the best in 10th place, two places ahead of Pierre Loubère (Praga / TM Racing). 8th overall, Olivier Rasmussen (Kosmic / Vortex) did a little better.
