Hannes Morin’s faultless day in Senior Max
The Swede did more than confirm his pole position by winning all three heats. However, the Senior Max category has been hotly contested, with a changing hierarchy over the Qualifying Heats.
Petr Bezel (2nd) from Czech Republic, Manaf Hijjawi (3rd) from Jordan and Mario Novak (4th) from Denmark also managed to win a heat. Always very dangerous, the British are in ambush, with Rhys Hunter and the formidable Mark Kimber in 5th and 6th places.
Bastien Borget is the best Frenchman in 14th place, Paul Fourquemin (32nd) is in the middle of the pack, while Rudy Champion (53rd) has not been sufficiently rewarded for his efforts.
