Vainio in control

Vainio easily dominated the final heat in Super KF on a virtually dry track at the start. In the pack, Bradley and Gromanova went flying and mades a spectacular jump in the 1st corner. But this little episode did not put him off as he got up, righted his kart, jumped in and started a fair amount of driving through the field … Bravo!

Toman and Ardigo attacked Thonon who took second position. Kozlinski also took Ardigo before he lifted his arm to signal a problem: his equipment was betraying him. He tried to continue but eventually retired on lap 5 very disappointed. Two places behind the leader, a trio formed with the Birels of Toman, Cesetti and Grice. Ardigo was 6th ahead of Foré, Litchfield, Bressan and Piccioni.

A little light rain began to wet the track in mid-race. Close to the top 10, Convers was at the head of a queue, while Cesetti took the advantage from Toman. Fore lost 2 places, then came back strongly on Alfano. This was a faultless win for Vainio, ahead of Thonon and Cesetti.
