Third World Cup for Thonon and CRG
Iglesias could not resist the relentless rebound of Jonathan Thonon for long, who had made a good start for the decisive final. The French Intrepid driver had given everything to stay ahead of the race, but nobody could hold off the Thonon / CRG / Maxter / Sav-Tec outfit. Norman Nato (Intrepid / TM) finished in the worst place, 4th, after his teammate Bas Lammers, penalized in the pre-final for jumping the start, shot to 3rd position. Arnaud Kozlinski finished 5th ahead of Piccioni.
