Top three in KF3: Olsen, Beer, Hoevenaars

The track conditions changed dramatically between the 3 sessions in KF3, from drying to completely rain-soaked. The first group caused the most problems for competitors who went out on slicks, because they had to find a clear lap at the right time, just before the rain started again. The ranking was somewhat affected.

Peter Hoevenaars was in the footsteps of his first major victory here in 2009.

The first position was taken by an Energy / TM with Dennis Olsen of Norway, before the Dane Nicolas Beer (FA Kart / Vortex) and Dutchman Peter Hoevenaars (Intrepid / TM), and all three were the leaders in their respective groups as required by the 101% rule.

What about other favorites? Max Verstappen (CRG / Maxter) was 5th, Jake Dennis (Top Kart / Parilla) 8th, Alexander Albon (Intrepid / TM) 11th, Loris Spinelli (Tony Kart / Vortex) 13th … Charles Leclerc (Maranello / Maranello) proved once again he is quick in the rain with his 9th place, just ahead of Hubert Anthoine (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Enzo Marchetti (Sodi / Parilla). Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly were a long way back in 37th and 43rd places.
