Speed checks in WSK
Often criticized last year for the erratic starts, the WSK has installed speed controls this year as at the CIK races. The device is particularly important at La Conca, where the first right turn is often the scene of epic crashes. For the moment the drivers do not seem to have understood the rule of 50 km / h max and many have been punished. Admittedly 90 kph on the line is a bit excessive … On a track that is very slippery, crashes are still very common early in the race, the impetuosity of some drivers being difficult to manage. Yet this does not call into question the merits of the system.
