Rain disrupts the KF3 repechage

The race had just started when light rain began to fall on Lonato. The red flag was waved before the end of the first lap, the drivers returned to parc ferme to mount their rain tires, for those who had already bought them. Panic forced some teams to do their emergency shopping.

Finally, Janneau Esmeijer (Intrepid / TM) was able get ahead, even though Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex) was very threatening in the final laps. Dorian Boccolacci (Intrepid / TM) quickly gained a few places to finish third from the incredible American Santino Ferrucci (CRG / Maxter) from 32nd position! Alex Palou (CRG / Maxter) and Petrut Florescu (Zanardi / Parilla) also secured their place for the finals.
