ART Grand Prix and FFSA join forces to support Kart racers from France

ART Grand Prix and FFSA, Fédération Française du Sport Automobile, has started a co-operation aimed at the growth and support of young kart racers from France. The project includes a wide range of activities ranging from everything on-track to all the aspects needed to be taken care of, in order to the develop an highly- professional racecar driver.

ART Grand Prix directly joined the karting ranks as a constructor this season and will provide FFSA as well as the youngsters with the Team’s experience developed through a long and winning open-wheel stint.

The goal of the « 10-15 Program », launched in 2009 by FFSA, is to guide young kart racers through one of the toughest phases of their career. The project will feature a long analysis thanks to the Auto Sport Academy’s activity, which includes specific physical, technical, psychological and nutrition training. On-track, the kart racers will be followed by a work group that will monitor and guide them through the weekends.

ART Grand Prix is one of the partners selected by FFSA to prepare their young candidates, both as a go-kart racing team and as a well-established way to help them start their open-wheel career.

>> Nicolas Todt

« Art Grand Prix is not only enthusiastic about co-operating with French Federation, but also proud to contribute to the growth of a new generation of highly-talented French drivers. We will provide them with an engineer to explain them the importance of data analysis and ART Grand Prix Team Manager Tony Lavanant, who also had a wide experience in go-kart racing, will also be available for advice. This project for ART Grand Prix is a great opportunity to get in touch and know some great young drivers with whom we can establish long-term relationships like happened with Jules Bianchi, who entered the Equipe de France FFSA program some time ago ».
