Roy takes off

Maxime Roy (Tony Kart / TM) took off like a bullet at the lights in the KZ2 final, while Julien Poncelet (ART GP / TM) was slow to move off the grid: it was not yet known if the start process was successful. Charles Fiault (Sodi / Maxter) was second. The first two had already built a good gap from François Santoni PCR / TM, surprisingly in third. Poncelet recovered quickly to take 2nd, followed by Laurent Marchandise (CRG / Maxter).

Nolan Mantione (Birel / TM) was in fifth place ahead of Christophe Benoit (Birel / TM), but Pierre Ragues (Sodi / Maxter) overtook on lap 8. In the lead, Roy increased his lead over Fiault by setting the fastest lap. Poncelet, in third by 4 » was closely followed by Marchandise. Ragues overtook Mantione for 5th.

Regularly fastest by 3/10, Roy crossed the line first, ahead of Fiault, and Poncelet retained his third place against Marchandise and Ragues.
