Vivacqua and ART GP on the Same Wavelength
New team, new chassis, and new engine: there have been quite a few changes for Thiago Vivacqua at the beginning of this 2013 season. In just his third meeting behind the wheel of an ART GP/TM, the young Brazilian started to show some excellent performances during the WSK Euro Series at La Conca.
« I have needed some adaptation time to adjust my driving to my new chassis, which does not react at all as the one I had last year« , Thiago explained. « From this viewpoint, last weekend was very satisfactory. I was able to set some good times and I made some considerable progress in the standings. It is too bad that the final ended earlier for me. I was 11th on the grid, which was encouraging, but the start went wrong. I was pushing hard when I was forced to give up on the 4th lap« .
But several positive elements emerged during the weekend, such as an 8th time in his group, and then a third place in the second heat and his catch-up race in the pre-final. These performances should soon lead to positive results in the next few races.
