The CIK-FIA European Championship for KZ and KZ2 starts next week, from 15th to 19th May. In Wackersdorf (D) the first out of two rounds on schedule. The event is aired live in streaming on www.cikfia.tv and www.cikfiachampionship.com. pre-recorded broadcasting on RAI Sport on 21st May at 9:00pm.
CIK-FIA KZ and KZ2 European Championship begins.
The CIK-FIA European Championship for the KZ and KZ2 categories is about to start with its first out of two rounds of 2013 calendar. The opening event is being hosted by the International Circuit of Wackersdorf, in Germany, next weekend from 15th to 19th May. This is the first CIK-FIA event organized according to the new guidelines and, from this year, promoted by WSK Promotion.
World wide TV promotion.
The main characteristic of the events promoted by WSK Promotion is the wide range communication, particularly focused on the broadcasting of the races through the Internet. In this sense, the live streaming system is already fully operative through the web channels www.cikfiachampionship.com and www.cikfia.tv. It will be possible to view the images of the final phase of the event of both the categories and on both the channels on Sunday 19th May. The TV broadcasting of the event, on the other hand, will be available on RAI Sport on Tuesday 21st May, with the pre-recorded broadcasting of the event from 9.00pm.
The protagonists in Wackersdorf.
There are overall 140 entrants to the event, in both the categories. For all of them, the program is very demanding given the great importance of the championship. The first out of two days of free practice starts on Wednesday 15th May. Then qualifying practice and heats on Friday 17th May. Saturday 18th will be entirely dedicated to the heats which precede the final phase of Sunday 19th May. This year’s edition has got a further innovation: a double Pre-final reserved to the KZ2 category. The first 68 drivers after qualifying heats will take part in the two races. The first 34 will qualify for the final as well as the first 34 drivers of KZ.

Prende il via la prossima settimana il Campionato Europeo CIK-FIA per le categorie KZ e KZ2, con la prima delle due tappe del calendario 2013. Il prossimo weekend, dal 15 al 19 maggio, è fissato l’appuntamento d’apertura, che avrà luogo al Circuito Internazionale di Wackersdorf, in Germania. Questo evento segna l’esordio del nuovo assetto organizzativo delle manifestazioni CIK-FIA, che a partire da quest’anno si svolgono sotto l’organizzazione di WSK Promotion.

Caratteristica della promozione curata da WSK Promotion è la comunicazione a largo raggio, con particolare risalto alla diffusione delle immagini di gara. A questo proposito è già a punto il sistema di visualizzazione in diretta streaming, mediante i canali Internet www.cikfiachampionship.com e www.cikfia.tv. Da entrambi, domenica 19 maggio, sarà possibile assistere in diretta alla fase finale del programma, per entrambe le categorie. La trasmissione su canale televisivo sarà invece curata da Rai Sport, che ha fissato per martedì 21 maggio, alle 21:00, la differita dell’evento.
I protagonisti a Wackersdorf.
Sono 140 i piloti iscritti complessivamente, in entrambe le categorie. Per tutti, il programma richiederà un impegno adeguato al prestigio dei titolo in palio: si incomincerà mercoledì 15, con il primo di due giorni di prove libere, prima del via ai confronti ufficiali, con le prove cronometrate e le prime gare eliminatorie di venerdì 17 maggio. Sabato 18 sarà una giornata interamente dedicata alle manche di qualifica, che condurranno alla fase finale di domenica 19 maggio. Ulteriore novità di quest’anno sarà la doppia Prefinale riservata alla categoria KZ2: ne avranno accesso i primi 68 piloti qualificati nella fase eliminatoria, suddivisi nelle due gare. I migliori 34 di essi disputeranno poi la Finale, analogamente ai 34 della KZ che avranno superato il loro turno.
