WSK Euro Genk: Beckmann and Kari on pole for prefinals in KFJ
High scores by most drivers in KFJ reflect the intensity of the battles in these qualifying heats that have been completed on Saturday night. The German David Beckmann (Zanardi / BMB) made his move with a second place and three victories, which allows him to lead the Finn Niko Kari (FA Kart / Vortex), and an Italian, Alessio Lorandi ( Tony Kart / Parilla). Then the Thai, Sasakorn Chaimongkol (Kosmic / TM), is in fourth place after a great comeback in the heats after his 16th in qualifying. The Canadian Parker Thompson (Energy / TM) has always been in contention, apart from a concern in the first heat. The champion elect, Lando Norris (FA Kart / Vortex) lost out in his last hear after a great run, so he is ranked 10th.
Following multiple difficulties, Gabriel Aubry (Birel / TM) was 15th in the last race of the day despite two victories, and Bryan Elpitiya (Energy / TM), the top French driver, is in 14th after his rapid adaptation to his new equipment. Amaury Bonduel (ART GP / Parilla) is in a very positive 18th, Arthur Lehouck (Lenzo / TM), always at odds with his chassis, is 38th, and Tom Leuillet (Birel / TM) 64th.
