The line was dry everywhere, but the La Conca track remained tricky and wet tyres were generally used in KZ2 qualifying. Again, times dropped significantly with each lap, and controlling the space made pole a lottery. Ben Hanley (ART GP / TM) took it all at the last minute with a final lap time of 1’02 » 577 ahead of Rick Dreezen (Zanardi / Parilla) and Sauro Cesetti (Top Kart / TM). The long time leader of the session, Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) took 4th place and Ricardo Romkema (Energy / TM) 5th.
