Driver

Paul David at Genk, but as a spectator

He smiles, but because it’s in his nature. Basically, Paul David has a big problem …

Following an improbable imbroglio, his desire to participate in the European KZ2 Championship turned into an entry in KZ …

« KZ is not for me, » says the driver from Amiens. « I do not have the means to compete against champions like Ardigo, Thonon, Kozlinski and Fore. And especially fighting against the factory teams is impossible. So spending a lot does not make me dream! »

Paul registered online on the CIK website in KZ2. He then completed and returned the dossier as normal. But when he received the confirmation of entry, it was for KZ. Paul is not accusing anyone: maybe he  committed a careless error at some point, maybe the problem is with the federation. He doesn’t know.

However, once the error was discovered, it was impossible to change his category with the CIK. Despite many good explanations, nothing worked. It was too bad for Paul. And as it was out of the question for him to participate in KZ, he won’t race at all in European Championship this year, even though the entry fee is lost.

Not bitter, Paul came to Genk on Friday « to see friends! But I’m not staying for the races, I am in too much trouble …  »
