WSK La Conca: Vartanyan wins heat 1 in KF

It was a difficult start for Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex), 15th on the first lap. There was a fight between Ben Hanley (Croc Promotion / TM), Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla) and Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex) for the lead. Tiene went in to fix his rear bumper, Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Parilla) retired after a mechanical problem, and Juan Correa (Energy / TM) was stopped by a black flag. Vartanyan led by a wide margin from Casper Roes (FA Kart / Vortex) who took 2nd place against Hanley. Vartanyan won, Martijn Van Leeuwen (CRG / TM) finished in 2nd position ahead of Roes and Fewtrell in 4th after passing Hanley on the last lap and setting the fastest lap time.
