Stanek at the controls after the OK heats
The last Qualifying Heats of the European Championship at Sarno caused big changes before the Final. After the retirement of Harry Thompson (FA Kart / Vortex) 11th, Roman Stanek (Kosmic / Vortex) was in 1st place ahead of Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / TM) and Hannes Janker (KR / Parilla), while David Vidales (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Zane Maloney (FA Kart / Vortex) finished in the top five. Alex Irlando (Sodi / TM) qualified 15th, Jonny Edgar (Exprit / TM) 27th and Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) 28th.
