Ampfing: the story of the chicane, episode 2

Among the various sagas animating the Ampfing paddock, the « Chicane » series has achieved success. Episode 2 came out of the minds of the screenwriters on Friday morning at dawn. The three small cones were replaced by a bunch of… thingies? (How should we name these things more precisely? Suggestions are welcome).

In short, three plastic appendages, firmly fixed in the ground, of an astonishing suppleness, like slalom poles, to dissuade cuting the track beyond the authorised limit without danger. The device appears to be in compliance with the regulations and approved by the international officials. Any contact between a kart and a thingy will be studied closely by race control before a warning or a sanction is given. A good idea?
